Wedding Information / Required Documents:

Once your Travel Agent has made your wedding reservation, please complete all forms and mail or email them along with the required documentation specified, at least 45 days prior to your departure so that we may expedite the processing of your marriage licence.

Weddings at Beaches Varadero, Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort & Spa and Resort & Spa can be scheduled Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and confirmed depending on availability. The ceremony is performed by a Public Notary of the International Lawyer's Office.

Required Documents for Weddings / Renewal of Vows:

……Photocopy (clear) of Bride & Groom's Birth Certificates.
……Photocopy (clear) of Bride & Groom's passports.
(No translation required for Birth Certificates & Passports in English or French)
For Renewal of Vows, we require the above documents along with a copy of their Marriage Certificate.

NOTICE: * If divorced or widowed - the below documents must be translated into Spanish and authenticated by the Cuban Consulate in the country where they were issued. If they have changed their names legally, they must do the same.

PLEASE NOTE - WEDDING COUPLE MUST BRING ORIGINALS AT TIME OF WEDDING - 
(NO PHOTOCOPIES)

* There is a service fee for all Weddings and Renewal of Vows. 
The fee consists of $150.00 CUC for all Weddings and $100.00 CUC for all Renewal of Vows. The fee is to be paid at the resort to the Public Notary directly and not to the hotel.
